Nicely renovated room with balcony. Despite being on second floor, great view. Well-appointed outside seating. Within easy walking distance of train station and beach. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff who made every effort to help me as my Italian is basic. The location can be noisy as trains can be heard and sounds can carry from the hallway - but the latter happens with most hotels.

Varazze en genuin gammaldags badort.

Hotellet är trevligt och har små men fina rum, läget är bra och inte långt från stranden. Nackdelen är väldigt hård säng och en personal i receptionen som behöver en liten charmkurs. Sedan går järnvägen i en tunnel precis bakom hotellet vilket kan uppleveas störande första dagen/natten.

La chambre n’était pas du tout à la hauteur de ce qui était écrit dans le descriptif : Nous n’avons pas réussi à fermer les volets, l’ouverture de la porte fenêtre était impossible à cause du parquet gondolé.... Bref un état de décrépitude inadmissible par rapport à ce qui était annoncé. Extrêmement déçue !!!!!

Was a good choice.

Self parking, but cars get 3 and 4 deep stacked. Leave keys with front desk so that they can move cars when someone leaves. Elevator, hallways, and rooms a bit on the smallish side. Very friendly staff, helpful, patient. Great breakfast choices, but avoid the last hour rush. Can become a bit crowded around the buffet tables. 5 min walk to beaches and other restaurants in the town center.
