« This property was perfect for our family get together. It was clean, cozy and well equipped. The dogs had a blast. We rented a boat and the dock was perfect. Other water activities were enjoyed by all and the dock was perfect for fishing We loved it!! Oh and the cinnamon rolls were super yummy! Thanks for a great stay! »

« 13 of us stayed at this house for 4 nights. We all had plenty of space to spread out and come together. The lake access is fantastic. There are so many amenities, even an ice maker. « We’ve spent a decade on the Lake and we had another wonderful trip! THANK YOU to Mary who was a fantastic hostess from the very beginning – wildly responsive to messages, checked in on us every few days, provided recommendations in the area, and greeted us with flowers / coffee / chocolates at the house. She was spectacular! Some of our favorites: view of the lake from the sunroom – we enjoyed all our family meals here; the coziness of the fire pit and it was really nice to have the firewood...

« We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! I could go on forever…By far one of my favorite stays at Lake Gaston. Thank you Edie and Steve for a wonderful core memory vacation. »

« We really enjoyed this lake house, we had a really good time. Lots of amenities available on the property for entertainment. Some upkeep could be done to the place, new lightbulbs , and just general maintenance but other than that, great time! We do an annual men's trip and this is our first time doing it at Lake Gaston and we want to come back here in the future »

« We had a great time at Songbird View! The house was perfect with an amazing view. There was plenty of room for our family to space out and enjoy themselves. « We stayed for a week in August with 16 family members ranging from 11 to 87 Years old. House worked perfectly for us - huge kitchen, very larger dining room table, 3 bedrooms on ground floor for grandparents, and ready access to the lake for the kids. Plenty of games and quiet spaces in the house, and the owner was very responsive to all questions leading up to our stay. We had a great week! »

« The Perch is an amazing rental comfortable beds, nice layout well stocked kitchen with even spices that u can use. Shampoo and soap included. Hairdryers in every bathroom! Nice towels, nice bedding. Spiders are a little bit of an issues in exterior area but I just swept most of them away. Perfect location with a Tiki Bar and Restaurant in walking distance. Amazing water views! The best VRBO we have ever rented!!!! Will book again when in the area. »
