I really liked this hotel, pricing was reasonable and it was the first hotel in a long time that I could tell it was very clean. We will be staying here again for sure.

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds. When I checked in the clerk mentioned very softly that they didn't have any 2 beds but didn't tell me what type of room she was putting us in instead. My daughter and I had driven over 12 hours from AZ and when we got to the room, there was only 1 queen bed in the room. When I called the front desk, the clerk told me, well I told you when you checked in that we didn't have any rooms with 2 beds. To which I replied that she didn't tell me she was putting me in a room with only 1 queen bed when I paid for 2 queen beds and 1 wasn't acceptable. I'm giving a review of average because the front desk supervisor came on the phone and we were then moved to a room with 2 queen beds. So at least that was resolved satisfactorily. Another reason I give an average review is the breakfast. Breakfast was less than good, with very few choices. The scrambled eggs were on the cold and hard side, and the sausage didn't even look like it was fully cooked.

A little outdated but beds were surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast is ok at best. Staff was welcoming. Early check out was a little difficult. All in all it was the best hotel in that area. Walking distance from the outlets was a major plus.

We like this property and stay frequently visiting family. This trip we noticed some changes. Hot water isn't real hot....more like warm water, and the breakfast is pretty lacking. No hot eggs....just hard-boiled. That said the coffee is above average and very good. They need to step it up a bit.

Perfect for our needs
We spent two nights on a business trip. This hotel was perfectly situated for our needs. We like to go for walks in the mornings, and there is a large outdoor outlet mall just a couple of blocks away that is perfect for walking the perimeter to get a couple of miles in (there is no fitness facility at the hotel). There are also some good dining options within walking distance or a very short drive. Interstates are very close, too. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything we needed. Overall, no complaints at all, and I'd stay there again.

Front desk was wonderful - she was great when I called in few days prior and was great at actual check in. Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast just ok. Main complaint would be door hard to open & close & very loud.

The property was clean, close and comfortable. Also, inexpensive. I am frequently visiting Vacaville but do prefer The Courtyard Marriott to The Fairfield Inn and they’re very close. I like the courtyard because it adds some nature and the rooms are prettier but this facility is fine.
