« We had a wonderful stay at this location. The host was responsive, and provided the property details very timely. He welcomed us with some muffins, bananas, coffee, and bottled water which was very much appreciated. « Great place with all the necessities. Quiet and relaxing place. Great communication with Robert. Easy access. The Grand Bear Resort has a nice little mini golf, corn hole and outdoor bar area which was nice to hang out with friends and family. Starved Rock Park was a quick drive. Utica was a cute little town with many good food options. Would recommend staying here - and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! »

« First, let me say this is not a cabin. The listing was a bit misleading if you are expecting a cabin, this is a townhome. That being said, it was lovely! Overall clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't use was the whirlpool tub as it didn't look clean. If you plan to do any cooking, the supplies are pretty basic (no baking sheets) but for stovetop cooking we were all set. None of that is said to dissuade people just to be informative. We would DEFINITELY stay here again! »
