Wonderful views of moorland and mountains from every room in the house and view to the sea from the garden. The house is ideally placed close to the Stoer lighthouse and for many wonderful walks ,kindly recommended by the owner , in the wild nature of the Highlands at close distance or directly from the house, »

« L'hébergement est très propre et bien équipé pour se faire à manger. Le lieu est calme, les moutons, vaches, oiseaux sont les voisins. Prévoir entre 2 et 3 nuits pour en profiter au mieux. L'endoit est assez reculé de tout, donc pour profiter au mieux de la plage, ballades autour et de se couper du monde, il est préférable de prevoir son essence et nourriture a l'avance. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieux magique pour souffler au milieu d'un tour de l'Écosse. »

« The property is well heated but the lean to bathroom is cold and damp . Covid 19 save doubtful, loose rugs, sheepskin mattress covers cushions etc. Shower head leaking stuck together with tape. Outside space lovely »

« We had a wonderful week in Poolewe. The house provides everything you need, the kitchen is very well equipped. WLAN was perfect for us and our host Hannah was really nice and friendly. If you look for some quiet days in a wonderful location, I can absolutely recommend this house. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot! »

« Very peaceful cottage. Bedrooms had very low sloping roofs. Two bedrooms, with bathroom downstairs, and precipitous stairs. Extremely well appointed cottage. Tin roof, so storms were interesting. »

« Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect. My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper. We also felt they were a bit stingy with laundry detergent - something which again we ran out of and had to buy our own. The other...
