A recent renovation and redecoration has taken this already stunning property to the next level of luxury. Situated on Soliman Bay in the Tulum area of the Riviera Maya, this tranquil 6 bedroom, 6.5 bath home provides every imaginable amenity in an unparalleled setting. The fully updated main house includes ample living and dining space with gorgeous marble floors, a 65” plasma TV, unique onyx dining table, and fully retractable sliding doors for full enjoyment of the sea breezes. A convenient half-bath holds a unique decorative standing sink with a fountain-style faucet. The well-equipped kitchen includes granite counters, a commercial oven and stove, spacious refrigerator, deep fryer, and all cookware and tableware. The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed, en-suite bath with lit white onyx sinks, and a luxurious fully furnished balcony overlooking Soliman Bay. The main house guest room contains a queen-sized bed and its own en-suite bathroom with marble, granite and onyx finishes. Head upstairs to the roof terrace to take in the panoramic view of the sea. A short stroll under a large traditional Mayan palapa will lead you to two separate casitas each with a bedroom and a private bathroom…both with views of the Caribbean Sea. You will find many thoughtful touches for your stay including air conditioning and ceiling fans, wi-fi internet accessibility, Bluetooth sound system, a 48” plasma TV and security lockbox in each bedroom, covered parking for two vehicles, satellite television, daily maid service (except Sunday & Holidays) and more……. Just outside the doors and conveniently accessible from all buildings, you will find stunning tropical gardens bordering a magnificent pool with Caribbean vistas. There’s plenty of room to relax here with outdoor dining, pool-side lounge chairs and side tables. An outdoor shower finished in marble provides an elegant space to clean the sand off at the end of a relaxing beach day. If you fancy an outdoor meal, you will find a “kitchen palapa”, equipped with a large gas grill, bar refrigerator (which can be stocked upon request), bar stools and a special dining table designed from the cross-section of a large tree. Wander down to the pristine beach for some quiet time surfside. Enjoy the soft Caribbean sands, or nap the day away in a Mayan hammock under a rustic pergola. If you feel you’ve rested enough, get in the water on our paddle boards or kayaks and enjoy Soliman Bay which is protected by the 2nd largest natural reef in the world…perfect for snorkeling! Aug 1, 2024 Liked: Check-in, communication, location #### Nice place but needs updating The good: Kevin, the on-site house manager, Angela, the local property manager, and Erin the rental manager were all nice, helpful, gracious and friendly. They made sure we had what we needed and checked in on us throughout our stay. We had a hellish arrival day but they helped us out in finding places for our group to eat and ensured we had transportation scheduled. The property is isolated and directly on the beach in a very calm bay, so it felt like we had the bay to ourselves. Not so good: The property feels old and outdated; many fittings were in disarray or broken (the gate was very hard to close/open, door handles coming off, sinks leaking or showers not working), shades were a bit grimy from the ocean water, etc. Kevin was able to help when we needed but some things weren’t fixable. The property is NOT GOOD for seniors. There are multiple steps throughout the house, not stairs but different heights in different areas that are hard to see. Our group had three grandparents and after a few falls I was nervous the whole time. The pool is nice but much smaller than it appears in the photo. Small enough that the water never felt cool, it was always warm. It also has a few dangerous spots that resulted in a member of our group getting a big gash exiting the pool which put a damper on our vacation.
