Top Tsumago Hotel Reviews

TAOYA Kisoji

10/10 Excellent

"Did this as an alternative to staying in Tsumago in order to hike the Nakasendo Trail the next day. It was a great option."

Hotel Fukinomori

10/10 Excellent

"This was the perfect reward for reaching Tsumago after hiking from Magome on the Nakasendo. Nestled deep among tall trees, this property felt like a hidden sanctuary with its open air onsen, welcoming staff, and superb dining. Amin was exceptionally helpful during our dinner and the front desk went above and beyond to help us navigate an alternate path back to Tokyo after we found out all trains out of Nagiso were cancelled due to rain. We were looking for a room with meals, but left feeling recharged in body and soul."
