It was somewhat remote via train but once there the charm and natural beauty of the area made it all worthwhile. Our room was a suite in traditional Japanese style. It was immaculate with many amenities. The buffet breakfast and dinners were of excellent quality and variety. We can highly recommend the hotel and its most helpful staff. The free shuttle to the station made our departure carefree.
