Access to Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake, and all the best skiing in Winter is close by. This home has a vibrant interior with an open floor plan and large decks, one of which is off the main living area. White cabinets, granite counters, and stainless appliances adorn the well-appointed full kitchen. There is a half bath off the main living area and two other full bathrooms as well. Each room is bright and comfortable for a luxurious sleep. There is also a small desk office space off the primary room, perfect for remote workers and students. The outdoor area has oversized chairs and a couch, along with a dining table and a private grill. You'll enjoy HOA amenity access such as a pool, a playground, firepits, and walking trails. This home is also dog friendly and there is a dog run outside, so every member of the family can join in on the fun. This cabin is located in the heart of Tahoe Donner, which means you're in for some fun and adventure all year round. Right in the neighborhood, you'll find the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Center and the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort, plus pools, hot tubs, and a gym at the Trout Creek Recreation Center (day-use fees apply). You'll also have access to the Tahoe Donner Beach Club Marina on Donner Lake five miles south. When the group gets hungry, The Lodge, Alder Creek Cafe, and Pizza on the Hill are sure to please everyone. 2026 Short-Term Tenant Card Restrictions STR cards are welcome at the private amenities approximately 332 days of the year. The size and layout of the cabin was perfect. We have two teenage children, so having the master upstairs and the two bedrooms downstairs was great. The living room and kitchen were spacious with an open concept. The kitchen was stocked with all of the pots, pans and utensils we needed to cook all of our meals. The fenced off dog run off the garage was the best thing ever. It made taking the dogs out at night so simple. We really enjoyed the neighborhood - it was close to a few restaurants and the grocery store. Overall the cabin was clean in terms of bedding, towels, dust etc. The main reason I took off one star for cleanliness was because there was a really strong food odor as soon as we entered that we could not get rid of during our stay, as well as visible food in the sink drain when we checked in. We contacted Vacasa mainly just to make them aware of the odor. They were kind enough to offer to clean the cabin again at no charge, but we declined. I happened to bring a scented candle so we just kept that burning whenever we were at the cabin and it covered the smell. I would definitely stay at this cabin again. It’s pretty spacious, thoughtfully laid out and designed for families. ##### Amber S. And it is well and thoughtfully equipped - beds, linens, towels, kitchen items, furniture, snow toys - I could go on and on. The 1/2 bath/powder proved more useful than I would ever have imagined. The gas fireplace was easy peasy, threw a lot of heat, and was pretty to look at. And there's even a dog run under the deck. One of my favorite VRBO properties. ##### Brad H.
