"The English Inn has been my "go to" place when I am in Charlottesville. it is clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff are pleasant and helpful. My one concern is the shower. Evidently, after showering and opening the doors, the water will go onto the floor instead of staying in the shower. One can see the water lines in the bathroom tiles that are close to the shower. I try to avoid this, but without success. The English Inn is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay and I hate to see the property be damaged in any way. Hopefully, this is an easy fix."

"Had a great stay while visiting my daughter who is Eva. Staff is super helpful and the property is in a perfect location to walk to everything around around the campus. Loved all the comment spaces to lounge or do work. Outdoor pool is a bonus and a nice extra spot to relax."

"Hotel showing soon age. Our floor is sinking on the carpet side. In fact you can see where the cracked line is going. Bathroom has a potion of the ceiling coming down in the corner near the shower heads. Slight smell of gas in the hall but I believe they were working on that. The room was clean and bed was nice a comfortable. It also needs a new fridge because it was not cooling to well. But it wasn't a bad stay at all."
Pine Grove Cottage - Visit Monticello, Charlottesville & Many Local Wineries

"Cute house, felt welcoming upon walking in. Kitchen had everything needed for basic cooking, if you want a crock pot, etc, bring yours along. Bathroom is roomy, plenty of towels, etc.. beds were super comfy. House sits on a dead end street, 3/4 mile walk total, perfect for walking our dog.... Short path in woods as well, but apply bug spray. Visited several wineries, all within a 30 min drive. Walmart, abc store, fast food, etc just 4 miles away in Zion crossroads. Enjoyed firepit, used gas grill, enjoyed sitting outside on patio. Bring a fire stick or Roku for watching TV, if you choose to do so. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and would come again if we have the opportunity. Host replied to all inquires promptly..... Thank you for having us."
