"This is a great location in the central lake area. Close enough to to more touristy areas, but more like a local neighborhood. Near to the Lenno boat which has regular service in central lake area. We had 9 adults, 3 couples and 3 singles, and more than enough room for everyone (singles had their own room) Four floors, with parking and sauna room at street level (basement) with an elevator. Pretty sound proof between the rooms and hall areas. Beautiful view from the patio off of the living...

"The host, Giovanni, was superb in communication and offering to make dinner reservations or take us on a boat ride. We wished we had more time to enjoy the area. But we only had the one day and the apartment was perfect for us. It may be a challenge if you don't have a car to get here. It was perfectly close for our visit to La Villa Balbianello. We had a hard time connecting to the wifi which is the only reason for not giving it 5 Stars."

"We loved the location ( just south of Menaggio) Excellent local restaurants in walking distance. Ferry and boat rentals also waking distance. The view and the grounds were both breathtaking. the church bells were also quite pleasant. The 3bd unit was quite sufficient and beds were comfortable. huge living space, large sofa, smart TV, your own outdoor patio and yard. The pool was great. large and refreshing. "We have just returned from a wonderful week here. The swimming pool was superb, always clean and plenty of seating. The views of the surrounding mountains and the lake are amazing. Good car parking, an easy walk down to lake, boats, restaurants etc. Fairly steep walk back but managed easily by younger generation and more slowly by retirees! Matteo is an excellent host, providing information and always available to help. We hope to return before too long."

"Location was fantastic. View was amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Host was very responsive. Even though pool was not heated it was very refreshing in the unseasonable heat at time of our visit. Jacuzzi in the evening was a nice end to a full day of exploring. Helpful to have washer/dryer (although dryer was very challenging - by American standards). Only comment I would add to make the stay a little more perfect would be to have a few more amenities available, especially in the kitchen....

"The location was fabulous and the hosts were kind and attentive, we had a great time. However, if you’re looking for old world charm or coziness in the actual house, this is not the place for you. It’s decorated sparsely and cheaply and cold in all white, no carpets. And since you want to spend most of your time outdoors it could use some comfortable outdoor furniture. There is only a metal table and chairs other than the lounge chairs by the pool. Luckily for the owners these are all fixable...
