« We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. »

« Michelle and Kevin were great hosts, really friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. The pod was exceptionally clean and well equipped with tea, coffee biscuits etc. It was in a peaceful location and within walking distance to Carbis Bay and St Ives, with its pretty cobbled streets, bars, restaurants and boat trips. Highly recommended and we would not hesitate to return for another short break. »

« The accommodation was exactly what we wanted. Owners provided a ‘starter pack’ milk, tea, coffee. Nice touches. Owner was attentive, without being intrusive. Just right.Ideal location. A short walk from the middle of St Just, with pubs, hot food vendors and shops. Free parking near by. Short drive to beaches, and Cornwalls rugged coastline.What more could we ask for! »

« This quaint cottage was perfect for 2 couples. We loved being steps away from the beach and very close to all the amenities in St Ives. The property was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is the parking spot is a distance away because of the old town. So anyone with mobility issues might consider that. There are cabs for hire if needs be. Would recommend, it was perfect for us. »

« My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this pretty cottage on the grounds of the lovely estate. The cottage is well-equipped, nicely designed, and very comfortable. It is well located for the port towns and cliff tops of the Lizard Peninsula. "This hotel has seen better days but I think it is currently under refurbishment. Nonetheless it is clean, well maintained. Rooms are big and I was granted a sea view room even if I booked a regular first priced room. The breakfast is average but I likes it. The staff is nice and helpful. I like the charm of the 70s-80s Grand Hotels, if you do too I would highly recommend the St Ives Bay"
