We had a lovely stay here. Julie and Gary are lovely people. The breakfast was definitely a highlight- scrummy! It is close enough to walk into town. We didn’t get to use the pool, as the weather was poor, but it looks great. This is an older style hotel, but perfect and has everything you need for a fab stay! We will be back if we are in Torquay again x

Julie and Gary were absolutely lovely and super helpful. They helped heat up milk for our little one and were friendly the hole time. I would say I think personally found the mattresses slightly uncomfortable, may be a preference. The only true negative, so the reason it was not 5 stars for us was the shower was weak, so couldn't just stand underneath it, had to hold it over the body part to clean. Aside that, amazing place, lovely people! Thank you both.

Excellent hotel to stay in. Initially booked just for a bed, as wasn't planning on staying in the hotel through the day. Instead, we got excellent service, delicious breakfast, reasonally priced drinks at the bar and a cool pool to relax in. The staff are extremely polite and very friendly. They will help with any request and always aimed to make us feel welcomed during our stay. Definitely booking again if we are heading to Torquay again.

A lovely stay at this hotel room was very clean very dated but what you get for the star of this hotel is very good. The location is spot on the staff are amazingly friendly. Breakfast is super just a very old dated building. Definitely worth the money.

When i checked in the people were so welcoming and friendly, close to the city centre of so easy walkable to the pubs and shops. My room was a decent size for 1 person, nice and comfortable, the only issue i can think of is the bathroom was a little small and hot water took quite a while to come through, Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, i will definitely stay again if I come back to Torquay.

It wasn’t what I booked as it was different to what I booked. But we did get a good night sleep and breakfast was ok but small.But needs some work done in the rooms we had,(e.g not enough towels for a family of 4, cobwebs and door needs something for the gap in the main bathroom, other bathroom the door didn’t close. And needs a hoover under the double bed.) A part from this, it was a pleasant stay for the night with a nice pool

Lovely room but needs an upgrade… shower was rubbish just a trickle, water did not get hot, kettle only just reached the plug and had to remove it to be able to pour water, only 3 plug sockets one being used for kettle & tv and not sure the third worked at all! No privacy on balcony as just a railing between next door room could see straight through and into the room. Very noisy if people drinking downstairs on outside terrace, chairlift on stairs making it awkward to carry luggage upstairs. Breakfast good, staff friendly and helpful, lovely outlook and location just very outdated facilities

the breakfast was excellent hot frest cooked ,friut juice, ceareals ,tea , coffee .staff was frindly and very helpfull .room was very clean .it was only a short walk to the bus stop and the beach , the park and the shops .we found it a very good place to stay .
