« A lovely house, light and airy with a beautiful outlook. A couple of suggestions: it would be more convenient and definitely more comfortable to have twin beds rather than a double bunk. Twin beds would fit easily into that smaller bedroom. Also, the provision of some dishwashing tablets and bin bags would be helpful. Otherwise a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Thank you! »

« The house was very comfortably. We like to self cater most nights, so the kitchen was well set up. Plenty of containers, crockery, pots etc. One light weight adult on the trundle which was fine. Plenty pillows to choose from if you like firm or soft. If you plan to use the kayak, we put it in the back of our ute to take down to the water. A bit too heavy and far to carry to the water. Great location for walks. Big wide footpaths. Cafe across the road very nice and convienient for a coffee. »

« + Joli complex en bord de mer. Bungalow spacieux et très confortable. L’espace entre chaque bungalow apporte une certaine intimité. Laverie à disposition - assez éloigné de la ville (40 minutes à pied) donc nécessite un transport personnel ou alors possibilité de louer des vélos Aucune supérette ou magasin à proximité. Un seul restaurant dans le complex mais fermé le dimanche à 15h pour ne réouvrir que le mardi matin. Donc si comme moi vous êtes là le week-end ça devient compliqué. »

« We loved the layout and beautiful touches, like sunset table, kitchen, hammock, books and comfortable bed. The shower was very cool and gave a nice view of the beautiful horses feeding on the lush grass next door. We had great fun cooking a delicious meal on the fire pit and being mesmerised by the stars. They provided the best coffee I have ever tasted!!! Communication was fantastic and Avon is a lovely human! Very impressed and will be returning soon for another stay. Thanks Avon for having us...

« Unfortunately, I hadn't read the negative reviews before I booked our stay at the Rainbow Sea Resort. While our suite had stunning views over the ocean and was attractively decorated in a Hamptons/beachy style, as shown in the promotional photos, those were the only positives. The bathroom and kitchen were in dire need of a thorough deep clean; there was grime and black mould in the bathroom, and a very unpleasant smell in the kitchen. « We had to wait almost an hour outside for check in because it was past 7 pm, it should mention somewhere that there is no booking after 5 pm the same day instead of making people wait. The water presser in the shower was very low and the kitchen was dirty, we had to wash the dishes before using them. On the positive side, the view is amazing. Overall, for the price, we don’t recommend. »

« My husband stayed at the sky cabin for 3 days over the Christmas break. We loved our stay!!. Nonie and John were very helpful, responsive and approachable. They are wonderful hosts!. . We loved the views the comfort of the lodge, the lovely decor with the rustic look, the out door shower and bath!! Loved it all.. thanks a lot, we will surely come back. »
