Quick communication from the get-go as this was a last min stay for just me and my dog. Cabin was clean and had everything I needed. Property is really nice with plenty of outdoor space, fire pit, and grills..so especially if you have a group. Great overall! Thanks!
Cabin looks just like the pictures--very clean, cute, and well thought out. Grounds are very well-maintained. Neighboring cabins were not intrusive at all. Staying in the Jack cabin, be aware that there is not drive-up car spot and there is a bit of a walk down a gravel path to get your things to the cabin. Not super challenging, but something to be aware of for those with lots of luggage and/or limited mobility. I caught a moment to chat with Lisa and she is a lovely, out-of-the-way host. She was simply maintaining the property, and also not intrusive at all. The location is rural and isolated so plan nighttime drives around that fact (deer are all over!). I would absolutely stay again. The hot tub at sunset was the perfect me-time relaxation.
We came up to the area to check out the biking trails and Elk Mt. Everything was accessible and enjoyable from our clean, well equipped, chilled out, tastefully decorated cabin.
The stay was great, easy check-in, breath taking view. The only single issue we had was with the touch screen stove top, the lock button kept becoming active without being able to turn off the lock and the food stopped cooking. While trying to call, no answer and no return call. Googled to flip breaker, and continued cooking. Other than that, beds were comfy, everything super clean, great amenities. No oven!
My friends and I stayed here for a night after a day of skiing at Elk Mountain. The location was close to the mountain, the check in process was easy, and the room was cozy and adorable! Would stay here again!
The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The cabins and campground are very well kept, and it was a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The owners were very helpful with any questions, and information provided prior to arriving was accurate and very thorough. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing weekend getaway!
