For families, staying slightly outside the immediate village centre, but still within a short driving distance, can offer more space and amenities like private gardens or pools.

The best time to visit Thezac is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.

Autumn offers similarly agreeable weather, with temperatures usually between 18°C and 28°C. This period is particularly special as it coincides with the grape harvest season, offering a unique insight into the region's winemaking traditions. Many local festivals celebrating the harvest take place, providing a lovely cultural experience. This time of year is excellent for those interested in culinary experiences and wine tasting.

While summer (July and August) is also popular, temperatures can reach over 30°C, and attractions tend to be busier.
