"Such a quiet wonderful getaway, and a birdwatcher's treat. We saw a family of quail, plus ospreys, kestrels, and meadowlarks during our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet, and the host was quick to respond to questions we messaged about activities in the area. The Goldendale Observatory is close by and offers a wealth of knowledge at their evening shows. Plus Cottonwood Canyon State park in only an hour away and is a beautiful hike."

It is definitely rustic but works well for our family obviously since it was our 2nd time staying here. No bells and whistles but functional. "We loved the cabin. It was clean and had a good layout for multiple families. The beds were comfortable. The road and driveway were plowed but it snowed a lot during our stay so we were grateful we had 4 wheel drive. We only wish it was on the other side of Hwy 26 so we could walk into government camp."
