It’s like the homeowners just moved out for the weekend or something. The beds were comfortable but the home was way too “lived” in for our taste. We came for a wedding and I couldn’t even hang my dress in the closet. The microwave was dirty. There was leftover food and condiments in the refrigerator. No hot water for our showers. Luke warm at best. I didn’t even wash my hair. We unfortunately couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Dale was very accommodating when it came to answering my questions however. I would never refer a friend or family member to stay here. The house is cozy and is on a beautiful plot of land. It had all the essential items needed for our stay. We noticed a smell when we first walked in but it wasn’t too bad. As we looked around the house and started putting our food and snacks away, the smell became very noticeable. There were quite a few items left in the refrigerator and freezer so I didn’t want to clean it out thinking it was the owner’s. From a communication standpoint, Dale was very responsive. From the ease of checking-in to Dale's flexibility of checking-out, it was hands-down the best experience I've had with any rental property I've had. We held our wedding on the site and our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful everything was. We had some younger guests who told me they had the best time because there were so many things to explore. Our dog had free roam of the huge property and we could tell she was just having the time of her life. Dale himself was the best host we've encountered. He was accommodating to all the vendors we hired for our wedding. He helped troubleshoot the heaters during our event. Dale even took the time to get the fire pit going and entertained some guests with stories of the stars while showing them how to make s'mores. We literally can't imagine having had our special day in any other location. ##### Janine E.
