"Motel.was clean and warm But needs a new fridge there was no storage in the fridge door so had to lay milk down witch leaked Need fly spray carnt leave windows open because of mozzies. Otherwise very good . Pool was excellent good temperature. New alterations have made it even better but needs somewhere to store your towels and clothes when it rains. Thanks."

"A little slice of coastal heaven 懶We’ve just had such a lovely stay in Kaiaua. There’s something so special about slowing down, breathing in the sea air and enjoying the peacefulness of this little part of the coast.Morning coffees, beautiful views, family time, fresh air and that relaxed Kaiaua pace — exactly what we needed. "What a wonderful clean open place to stay. I found the hosts great communicators and therefore I felt most welcome. I was invited to walk their garden and make myself at home. They were not home during my stay, but I did not find this an issue as they always available online. All instructions for check in and out were clear and concise. I will definitely stay again and recommend the place to others looking for a cosy, warm quiet and private place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and there were coffee and tea items available in the pantry. I was also greeted with a complimentary bar of chocolate and fresh oranges from their own garden -a nice touch. In my opinion, I think this lovely one bedroom place is more for a single person or couple, given the layout and available space. The couch does open to a bed if required perhaps for another person or child. Highly recommend. It’s proximity was perfect-being 7-10 minutes to Thames township, and a few minutes to a lovely beach below."

"The hosts were absolutely amazing! They were very responsive, super friendly, very available. They had the frig stocked with milk and had a lovely bottle of wine for us, as well as Nespresso coffee cartridges. Kitchen is super-well equipped. They lent us shovels to go to Hot Water Beach. Just amazing people. The house itself is fine, but rather nostalgic. If you loved visiting your grandmas beach house, this is the place for you, but with a great big screen TV, and solid WiFi. The pictures of the house might have been airbrushed a bit, so be aware that the hosts are really kind, sweet, wonderful owners, but also the corporate management company that is selling the property is doing so with embellished photography. The location is fantastic, although Thames tends to roll-up the sidewalks somewhat early during winter, and many local establishments are closed in the winter, and especially on Sundays and Mondays. But once again, please know that the hosts, Jill & Clive, are amazing!"
