"PLEASE BE AWARE. This place overbooks clients so when you arrive they say there is NO reservation under your name. Then they send you to another location of much lower quality. People at the new location confirmed that they do this all the time. It is not a mistake but rather a scam. I left that second location and was lucky to find a nice hotel nearby for the same price. I did get a refund but most people will probably stay where they are forced to stay due to lack of options and uncertainty. I...

Options of two bars/restaurants with friendly staff; service in general very good - which is rare in Zanzibar. "Had a wonderful stay at the four points Dar es Salaam, location was great for getting around the city, getting the ferry etc, the harbour room views were stunning, could not fault the staff from porters to check in, restaurant staff etc, nothing was too much to ask. I will stay here again if I come back and can recommend it for a city hotel "

"My partner and I really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly, and were very patient with our attempts to speak Swahili. They had a ton of amenities, and classes during the day (ie. workouts, bracelet making, activities, etc.), which was nice since the location is a bit far and somewhat secluded. The beach was stunning (but you could only swim during high tide but the sand was gorgeous), and because it was secluded there weren't a ton of people trying to sell things. We loved the pools and variety of food offered at the buffet and restaurants."
