"The property was large, spacious, and generally clean, so overall our stay was not unpleasant. However, there were several issues that impacted our experience. We tried contacting reception on multiple occasions but were never able to get through, and the reception desk closes at 5pm, which further limited support when needed. As we had activities planned during the day, visiting reception in person was not always practical, making the lack of phone support particularly frustrating.

Exceeded expectations in terms of location, accommodation, facilities etc. A great deal of thought has been put in by owners to enhance the comfort of your stay, a lovely home from home. Lovely short walk to a fabulous beach, and not far from Portmadock where there are shops for every need. Would highly recommend, and sure like us you will just want to go back again. "Nice hotel, reception and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel in general was a little tired around the edges but it was clean and had soft towels! We were in room 9 with a sea view which was much like the sea view in Fawlty Towers but we weren’t there to specifically stare out of the window… and the tv needed switched on and off at the wall because the power button on the remote doesn’t work. Doesn’t sound like much of an issue other than the plug is about 7’ high and I’m only 5’ Breakfast was good!"

"Beautifully decorated and very well equipped cottage in a superb location for hiking and cycling. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Has lovely outdoor area for parking and seating. Not too far from local amenities. Good base for visiting coastal locations.Host leaves lots of information on the cottage and the local wildlife. One of the best rentals we've had. Great cottage. Great hosts! Highly recommend it."
