« Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. »

« We stayed 2 nights while visiting Acadia. We wanted to be away from the craziness of Bar Harbor… this location satisfied this need. Check in and communication were great. We stayed in room 7. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Only minor issues that I would want others to consider is… 1) proximity to the highway is very close, which is apparent when I look back at the website pics. It wasn’t an issue for me, as I wear earplugs anyway, but I did hear a siren once, as it is that close....

« Nous n’avons que peu dormi 2 jours sur 4 à cause des voisins en party ou arrivés ds la nuit et faisant beaucoup de vacarme ……déplorable ! J’étais sur ce site pour me reposer en vacances et faisions bcp de vélo le jour au Parc Acadia ! C’était magique ! Le BBQ du Mercredi soir à peu de frais était très apprécié ! Nous aurions apprécié savoir qui était responsable de l’endroit pour sentir qu’un responsable tenait compte de la quiétude du site ! Sinon , l’endroit était plus que parfait …..tout...

« We were only here for one night, so our experience was limited, however, the unit was clean, comfortable and well- stocked. The location is off the beaten path and on a dirt road, but was perfect for a quiet stay. We even had deer come through the yard. The only comment I would make is that there was a strong cleaner smell when we arrived. It did mean that the unit was clean, however, maybe use a little less as it was harsh on my family with asthma. Otherwise a great stay. »

« This is such a unique property. The attitude and helpfulness of all the staff and the owners makes you feel like you have known them forever. The main house is open 24 hours for access to a full kitchen, living room, sitting room, office setup, laundry room and hot tub. There are snacks for guests (and their pups) out all the time, and a great fire pit with wood and fire starters which we used both nights of our stay. Property is an older site but insides are immaculate and cozily decorated. »

« Right on the water! Perfect view of Boat races if you are in town for them. I was worried about being right on Main Street, but very little street noise in the town even during a big event. The deck is huge and lots of places to sit. The communal room had some nice snacks to help us keep our 6 year old happy. The town of Stonnington is well worth the visit and a perfect spot to relax. ONLY complaint is I'm not used to having to shuffle a car around due to parking rules. Parking on street...
