« This is our second time staying and it was just as amazing, peaceful and perfect as the first time. The owner has everything you could possibly need tucked inside and around the cabin and is a great host. There is plenty of room for our dogs to run, a pond where we spent most of our time catching nice size catfish and the most peaceful creek running through the property. It has become our annual spot to unwind.10 out of 10 Stars »

« Reading all the previous comments about this house we were eagerly looking forward to our visit. A group of 11 were blown away by the property. Immaculately cleaned, beautifully furnished, the river, and of course, the amazing pool solarium all added to a fantastic vacation. We have no negative comments about the property other than the WiFi which is totally understandable due to the house being so remote. It will definitely be hard to beat this house in the future. « this was our second time staying here, and we loved it just as much this time as the last time. It is such a cool house with a lot of character. The kitchen is well stocked, the house is clean, the bathrooms are nice, and the beds are all comfortable. the Internet was having problems while we were there, but outside of that it was perfect. It is especially great if you were showing at TIEC, it takes 10 minutes or less to get there from the house. »

« The photos were accurate and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed the fishing and swimming and the house was comfortable for everyone. Really close to the Highway but you can't hear the noise at all. It's definitely secluded which we liked but pretty close to downtown Morganton. Thank you for hosting us! »

« Steve and Laura are wonderful hosts. Steve greeted us at the cabin to be sure we had everything we needed and gave us a short history of their property. It is a beautiful setting and very private. We loved the Glass Chapel. The cabin kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom has a tub! Laura provides such nice touches as toiletries and thick white towels. « Walking around the property is amazing for nature-loving people: plants, insects, and wild life flourish here. The cabin porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening reflections. « Bob and Gayle were so helpful and available to us,the property is better in person, than in any picture you can see or read about. The privacy and beauty of this cabin is great. Activities to go to are within 20 to 40 minutes from the cabin. The spring fed pond was a great part of the property my dog and I swimmed every inch of it. The fruit trees and wooded area were an incredible add on to this property, my wife and I will definitely come back God willing. Thank you Bob »

« Staying here was an amazing experience and everything we needed for a quick trip to Ellensboro and Shelby area. Karen was amazing in meeting with and us when we arrived and also showing us around the property/facilities. We were not traveling with horses but would definitely consider returning with horses in the future. Thank you Karen for an amazing experience and very clean and comfortable place to sleep! »

I noticed a small stain on one of the pillow cases but I'm not going to hold it against them; I simply used another pillow.
