Hotel viejo y descuidado. Lo único medio aceptable el Hall y el desayuno, considerando que la cocinera Que freía los huevos no paraba de toser Sobre ellos. No hablan inglés. Ascensor roto probablemente por un incendio del cual aún se ven los desperfectos en la fachada exterior. En un principio pedimos habitación de cama individual la cual costaba más que las dobles y nos dieron una de dos camas al reclamar nos cambiaron pero nos pusieron en una zona que daba a un fuente en desuso que tenía restos de agua por lo que era un nido de mosquitos. Fue el único sitio de todo el país donde hemos visto cucarachas y no para comer. Baño sucio, toallas viejas, sabanas muy desgastadas y manchas en el techo de dificil explicación. Fue el único disponible que había, y no repetiria. It is not within walking distance of restaurants or shops so you should have some transportation unless you wish to eat at the hotel. The hotel caters to large tour groups and the first day of my stay, the hotel was almost completely empty. I had to look for the staff in order to check in. That said, once i found them, they were very friendly and accomodating. The description of the hotel is NOT accurate, the WiFi is limited to the hotel. The rooms are large and clean, but the windows cannot be opened. My only complaint about the rooms was a lack of electrical outlets. We parked directly outside and the porter assisted with our suitcases and delivered them to our room. At check in there is a photograph of the former Prince now King when he stayed in 1991 so we were pleased that Royalty had stopped. The room was large and clean but unfortunately the toilet leaked so we were moved to the Imperial Suite which was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast team could not do enough for us, even cooking extra eggs when we arrived after most the other guests had eaten. It is a great location for visiting the Historical Park in Old Sukothai which is amazing. I imagine when the hotel was first opened it was very majestic, it does need some tender loving care and investment but for the price you cannot complain. ##### Peter ### 8/10 Good #### Verified traveller Mar 4, 2017 Liked: Staff & service, room comfort #### スコータイ観光名所 ホテルの立地はスコータイの観光名所各地に行くには適当なところにある。２５年目に開業時にはこの地区で最高のホテルであったと思われる。競争のためか 建物メンテが不十分ながら 部屋は快適に保た有れている。ホテルのレストランは程度が悪いが 朝食は問題なし。ホテルの近くには観光客向けの程度の良いレストランがたくさんあり、歩いていく距離ではないが立地もよい。 ##### Verified traveller ### 6/10 Okay #### パイリンホテル, バンコク Aug 15, 2011 #### スコータイ遺跡近く スコータイ遺跡目的で1泊しました。遺跡の周辺には何軒かのゲストハウスがあるようですが、近くでそれなりの施設を有しているのはここだけではないでしょうか。ホテル前から乗りあいソンテウが拾えて、５～１０分ほどでスコータイ遺跡公園まで行くことが出来ます（２０バーツ）。とは言っても、周りには何もなく、市街地にも遠いのでその辺は目的にあわせて選ばれたほうが良いですね。ホテルのアメニティーなどは備え付けの石鹸やシャンプーなどを見てももう少し綺麗なものにしたほうがと思いますが、そんなこと日本人だけが思うことかも知れません。３つ星ですが、小さなプールもあり（綺麗ですよ）、フロントやその他スタッフの方も皆親切で、良い対応してくれます。この金額では申し分ないくらいのホテルだと思います。 ##### パイリンホテル ### 8/10 Good #### Steve, Thailand Jun 30, 2011 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Pailyn Hotel Sukhothai - it's fine! Stayed 1 night here - good location right on main road. Room big, spacious - has everything you need. Comfortable bed. Basic bathroom, but OK. Restaurant was OK - large variety of Thai & western food. The pizza is obviously bought in (because mine was served with 20cm cotton string from packaging still attached!). Breakfast buffet was fine - good choice but nothing special - we've had far worse. A bit noisy at night if there's a group partying by the pool. And LOTS of mosquitoes in the lobby and restaurant. Free wife in lobby, but not in rooms. Read some bad reviews of this place, but I think many of them are unjustified, The staff were OK and helpful enough.
