"The room was ok but on second floor and no lift working a lot of stairs to go up so not ideal when you have been working an 8 hour day also In my room 218 the toilet would not flush after first flush so had to wait about 10 minutes before it would flush again mentioned it to staff at reception and just told the water has low pressure but my other colleague had room 208 and his was amazing and the flush was fine"

"A well maintained and interesting Victorian Hotel in a beautiful seaside location. Filled with vibrant art works by one of the owners, and large, comfortable common rooms offering splendid views of the sea. The staff were welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We eat out in Tintagel but the snacks in the bar area were appetising and the cakes absolutely delicious. The owners were out and about interacting with visitors. The rooms were well appointed and clean with comfortable facilities and the nightly cost very affordable. All in all, a destination that we'll undoubtedly visit again when the weather improves."

"Always a wonderful experience when I stay here on business. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are large and airy with everything you need for a one night stay. Breakfast is also delicious. "Stayed in a fabulous large loft conversion. The Tintagel Arms is in the town, so good access to the shops. Parking at the Arms was helpful too relieving the earlier stress of dealing with a no signal 'app only' in the town car park so another plus. Friendly hostess. Breakfast was great with a good range of classic full or light breakfasts according to taste. Good, easy to use shower. Clean linen. If we weren't moving on to St Ives we would have stayed longer. Recommended."

The hotel is very cosy and inviting. The only issue was the slight awkwardness of the room due to the beams but this was a minor problem and the room itself was well appointed.
