"Lovely bed & breakfast, run by lovely people. Arrived well past usual check in time after train delays, but Martin was very accommodating. Enjoyed Lyn’s warm and friendly conversation and recommendations for sightseeing to make the most of our too-short stay. Marmalade at breakfast was the best we’ve ever had!"

"The room was a good size with a decent amount of storage. The shower was very powerful but the towels were quite thin. The bed was comfortable although a little low down and the quality of the bed linen could be improved. It might be difficult for someone with poor mobility to climb the stairs to the property. Whilst there is parking the space to manoeuvre is not great. The location is good and not far to walk into town, but options for eating out close by are limited."

"Great place to stay, a lovely basket of goodies on arrival. A really quiet place to chill out. The hot tub smelt a little funky, like someone had let their dog in it (ugh) but with a quick wipe out it was ok."

"The payment at VRBO site didn't go through and VRBO kept saying there was no issues with payment. However the host was saying no payment received and the booking was provisional. I have to call the host to give my card details to secure the booking. But stressful."
