"Stayed in their smallest room which was fine - bed was very comfortable and bathroom was a good size with good all purpose mirrors so getting ready was no problem. Good vibes in all areas - felt like I stayed at a cool and trendy hotel in the heart of the action. Much enjoyed. Thank you"

"The hotel was superbly located for access to the Ullevi Stadium. Staff were really friendly and there was no issue with our lack of Swedish. The breakfast options were plentiful. The room felt a bit cramped, but it served its purpose. It was great that there was an ironing board and iron in the room without having to call reception for one. The restaurant couldn’t handle the number of customers in the evening (due to the football match), and turned away my group and two others. The price of snacks etc on offer was amazingly cheap. Not sure if that was the hotels pricing or the transfer rate from Kr to GBP. We’d probably stay here again if we wanted access to the Ullevi stadium or the theme park which is just up the road."

"The hotel was beyond more than we expected, so much fun & offered lots to do for our 5yr old son. The rooms were clean, the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room with the bunkbeds were perfect for our family and provided more space for us all to relax in our own spaces. The breakfast buffet had so much selections and everything was fresh! They even had a good selection of food for my gluten intolerant husband. Being right next to the amusement park, the buffet gave Disneyland buffet vibes without the characters. Lots of options for transportation to get around, lime bikes & scooters, bus, ubers & cabs. location provides sports restaurants, stores & mini grocery store across the street, as well as yummy baked treats in the hotel. Also a park for kids to play within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The bed was not comfortable, and my request for more pillows went unanswered. That was a shame. The tub in the bathroom was on a platform, and did not have any texture on the bottom to give your feet something to grip to. This made the ascent and descent rather perilous. Breakfast was fantastic. It was always busy, no matter what time we went, but the food was always full and fresh, and there was always a seat available. The maitre d' was a pleasure, and truly was the highlight of our stay at Scandic Rubinen."
