This wonderful island escape is centrally located and just a short walk to the beaches and the best village area shops, restaurants and sites on St. Simons Island. Guests of the Oasis Cottage will have their own private heated pool and spa (heated upon request for $45/night) with plenty of pool side seating and lounging for use during their stay. The newly tropical landscaped pool and spa area with a 12' x 30' pool and fully fenced backyard has beautiful turf grass, perfect for families to enjoy spending time together. Enjoy cool evenings by the firepit featuring a Solo Stove technology interior. The backyard offers two covered pergola spaces with areas to enjoy grilling, relaxing, and dining. ​​​​​​​Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours! Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (8 persons). The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for a full Thanksgiving meal, which was a huge bonus.One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to bring our two larger dogs—so many places have restrictions, so we were incredibly grateful. You have to come out the side door, again, no big deal. I really appreciated that the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, soap and conditioner. We aren’t strangers to St Simons, and we loved being so close to the village. The pool was a huge bonus, as this was the first property we’ve had that had a pool. We were all able to do our own thing, and still come together. One of the few things I’d recommend is just putting some sort of note or sign that the turf around the pool gets really really hot. Especially if children are outside, which we didn’t have, but could burn small feet without shoes. It was totally fine in the shade otherwise. The house was beautiful, clean, and came stocked with plenty of helpful amenities including some cooking gear (like spices, oil) as well. The backyard is just as incredible as advertised. We paid extra for the heated pool and it was really warm for the winter weather! We used that and the hot tub daily. The location is nice, with a 10-20 min walk to the beach and most restaurants nearby. The grocery store and other restaurants were just a short 5 min drive. The checkin and checkout process were straight forward and we had no issues at all. The property managers were very communicative from the start and checked in during the stay. We would love to come back again, and have told family and friends about it too! ##### Katie B. House on the inside was really well done and looked beautiful. Had a major issue with an overwhelming moldy/musty smell inside the house. Staff was contacted and attempted to treat the smell. It did not work. Had to leave doors open while in the house. No one checked to see if issue had been resolved. Too bad as this is a sweet property. ##### Brian G. We loved staying at this property with family, as well as our pup who thoroughly enjoyed the stunning fenced in back yard!
