Welcome to Magnolia Cottage

Magnolia Cottage has just completed a major transformation! This cottage has been completely updated and redecorated with brand new furniture (including beds and mattresses), linens, housewares and décor!

Magnolia Cottage is one of the most sought-after vacation rental homes on St. Simons Island. The Coast Cottages community is a neo-traditional planned community on St. Simons' widest stretch of sand. Many consider it the most exquisite real estate anywhere in Georgia. You'll find charming southern architecture with lush natural landscaping and brick-paved lanes.

A short stroll from any of the cottages leads to a spectacular oceanside pavilion and pool facility unrivaled along the St. Simons Island shoreline.
Real Escapes Properties is proud to offer this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom Coast Cottage. The first level offers a king bed room with television and en-suite bath with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom features a twin bed with trundle and a set of twin bunk beds. There is also a tv in this room for streaming. The owners have added a desk along with computer monitors for your use. The en-suite has a walk-in shower. Enjoy the front porch with plenty of seating.

The second level offers a king master suite with private, full bathroom with a separate garden tub and a walk-in shower. The living room, dining room and kitchen combination share the rest of this floor. Plenty of room for the family! Enjoy the balcony with views of the marsh. Guests will surely enjoy having their morning coffee or afternoon cocktail on either porch!

Plenty of amenities to enjoy including the beachside pool, pavilion, and private boardwalk to the beach. Enjoy biking, swimming, kayaking, shopping, or dining at one of St. Simons' fabulous restaurants.

The south pool is heated automatically by the HOA Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, and from March 15 to April 15 for spring break.

Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (8 persons).

Parking is available for two vehicles in front of the cottage. We'll provide you with the parking passes.

Walk to the beach! This cottage is located approximately 2 miles from the Pier and Village area.

Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old - this applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

What to Expect in your Unit:
There are 4 TVs in this unit.
Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towel and Trash Bag. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

1 - Set of Bunk Beds

The house was perfect!! Plenty of room and very clean!! Decorated nicely and furnishings were comfortable. Location is great - walk from the house to the pool and beach easily. Just a short drive to whatever you need!! Definitely would like to rent again!!

Wonderful vacation

This house is stocked with everything needed for a great beach vacation. Close to the beach, beautiful property and pool area, comfortable beds (each room with a tv, which our kids loved), and a fully stocked kitchen. The beach chairs and wagon made everything so much easier too. We can’t wait to come back to stay!

Lovely Home, But ...

Lovely home in a community with a pool and access to the beach. The home is nicely decorated and furnished. However, we had three major issues during our stay. The management company was wonderful about coming out to take care of the issues, but it we did lose one morning waiting on the refrigerator appliance professional to come out to fix the refrigerator, and we were woken up every night we stayed at the house by a high-pitched noise created by a plumbing issue in the pipes - a noise that only stops if you turn on all of the water faucets on in the home (not really what you want to do at 3am). Also, we had difficulty getting 2 of the TVs to work (but that's common). The mattresses definitely need replacing. Also, we had only adults staying in the home. The third bedroom only has twin beds. We would probably have preferred to have a full or queen bed in that room. But families with young children may enjoy having the kid's bunk room. The home is lovely. It does face a "marsh" which is really just an empty lot ... not really the view that is advertised or that we expected. And there is a lot of traffic on the adjacent street (noisy). However, the amenities in the area and the access to the beach are wonderful! The management company was pleasant to work with, we just wish we didn't have to get to know them so well (due to all of the maintenance issues we had with the home).

We loved Magnolia Cottage!

This house was the perfect beach retreat! It’s a beautiful and clean house, excellent location, and stocked with anything we may have needed. Each room was plenty big, and the beds were so comfortable. I hope we get to stay at Magnolia Cottage again!
