Welcome to Tangerine Dream! Spend a week at the beach in style in this beautifully and richly appointed beachfront property. A warm and inviting cottage, Tangerine Dream offers all of the comforts of home with a breathtaking beach view and easy beach access. As you enter into the 1st floor, you will find two bedrooms, one of which is a Beachfront master suite with King-sized bed. This rooms opens onto a private, furnished and covered deck with access to the ground level and beach boardwalk. You can enjoy spending the early morning here as the sun rises over the Gulf or you may choose to venture out into our palm garden for the fresh Gulf air. A private bathroom with walk in shower completes this master suite. The second bedroom is tastefully decorated, with a Queen bed and private bathroom with large, tiled shower. All of our bedrooms have the added convenience of a flat screen TV and ceiling fan for your comfort. The second floor is the shared living space and holds the best views in the house. You will find the kitchen well stocked and ready for you to prepare a meal of fresh, local seafood. A large breakfast bar with seating for 4 and granite countertops make this an easy gathering place before heading out for the day. A laundry area is also conveniently located just past the kitchen. Dinner is served with views of sparking Gulf waters at a table that can seat up to 6\. Just past the dining area is the living room with Queen sleeper sofa, large, flat screen TV and DVD/VHS combo. You may enjoy the Gulf views from the comfort of this space or on the covered beachfront deck. Both of our upper and lower decks have privacy screens to the East, to make the most of a relaxing stay with family and friends. A full bathroom with spacious tiled shower is located just off of the stairwell and is easily accessible to the living area and loft bedroom. The loft bedroom is located above the kitchen and overlooks the living area below. This is a great room for singles adults, children or teenagers, with 1 Queen bed and 1 Twin bed. Views of the Island are best seen from the bedroom window here. Our parking area is lined with brick pavers which makes coming and going an easy venture as you explore the area. Our home is within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and Lighthouse Park, so you can tour the area on foot or rent a bicycle and enjoy the miles of bike path available to visiting guests. A convenient pathway leads you from the roadside to the beach, as you pass thru a thoughtfully curated palm garden with benches and tiki hut, the perfect place to relax as dinner cooks on the park-style charcoal grill nearby. Our boardwalk makes the beach easily accessible, and our unique outdoor space will make our home easy to find when it's time to return for the evening. And don't forget to rinse the beach sand off in a convenient and private enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, available just off of the lower deck. The whole west side of the kitchen must be slanted because the dishwasher wouldn’t stay closed and every time you opened the refrigerator the freezer would open slightly as well, we found that out when everything in the freezer had already thawed. The outside certainly needs a face lift compared to the other houses in that area as well. Lots of items need attention - rusted shelves in freezer, plastic storage bins in fridge broken and with missing pieces, master shower floor very slippery with absolutely nothing to grab onto for safety, broken latch on sliding door to deck, screws sticking up in shower drain in main floor guest bedroom, oven light won't turn off, many dishes, utensils and cookware were not clean, no instructions for how to use the TV (two remotes needed), water heater blew the breaker and ran out of water after a single 10-minute shower, the Farberware cutlery is very cheaply made and would not even slice a tomato. We would not stay here again unless these items were all addressed and corrected. ##### Russ A. I can’t say enough good things about the property and the management! First, communication with management from start to finish was absolutely stellar! That is where the extra star comes from in rating this. We had a difficult trip getting to Florida (won’t bore you with the details) so we needed some extra recommendations, blankets, and the like. Jamie was there for us. Can’t say enough good things. She helped turn a hard trip right around for us! Second, the property was clean, close and comfortable. It was better than it looked on the listing (which is usually not the way it goes). All the beds were very comfortable (not common either). Everything was ready when we arrived. Kitchen was fully equipped. All the TVs and DVD players worked great. A/C was great. Three bathrooms with three showers gave us what we needed. Last, the location and the neighborhood were excellent! We could walk to all the grocery stores, center stores and our personal favorite The Blue Parrot. We had one issue where teenagers were playing loud music by the park close by but Jamie, once again, took care of that for us too! She called in the local deputy and they quieted it right down. So not even that was an issue. We did not have a rental car (part of that hard trip) but we didn’t need it. We had a car service pick us up and drop us off. We could go everywhere we needed. Mostly we enjoyed walking out the back and sitting on the beach using our VayKay gear. The property had boogie boards so we all were able to enjoy using those. There was a hose we could use to rinse our feet and gear when we returned. A walk way out to the beach made access ease. They thought of everything! We were a group of 8 and this place was perfect for us. Looking for a great place, a great location and great management? Look no further than rather Tangerine Dream!!! ##### Nate T. My partner, 3 year-old son, and I stayed at Tangerine Dream the week of Thanksgiving. I can’t say enough nice things about this place! The house was exactly as pictured and a beautiful place to spend the holiday week. The house it truly \*right on\* the beach with its own private catwalk. We loved the two private decks, from which we witnessed dolphins and spectacular sunrises. The beach was not crowded and social distancing was a breeze. The island is very remote and quiet- this was a major part of the appeal to us- so there isn’t much to do but enjoy the water. That said, the Blue Parrot is a short walk up the beach, with an outdoor Tiki bar if you want to pick up a piña colada to-go. (We only did take-out from there, and cooked our other meals.) I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relatively remote vacation with a small family! ##### Laura Z.
