"I had a lot of problems with my room, that did eventually get fixed, but were things that someone should have noticed before I checked in - mattress not on the bed properly leaving metal polls sticking out that I ran into and bruised my leg, light falling out of the ceiling in the shower, safe not working, spoiled milk served at breakfast, ice machine on the floor not working. Great location, but the staff needs to be trained to pay attention to details. "

"We chose this hotel based on price and excellent reviews and wanted something that was centrally located within the Amish towns east of Lancaster. We also wanted a location that was close to Sight and Sound Theatre. We were not disappointed with our choice at all and we can now see why this place was so highly rated. The room we had was very recently updated with new vinyl flooring, new sofa and recliner and was incredibly spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great with a ton of options and the breakfast attendant was excellent at his job. The location was great and the hotel was far enough off the main road that it was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel was amazing from start to finish. The staff was incredible. Friendly & knowledgeable, and attentive. We had never even heard of this hotel and now it will become a staple for us. My husband i travel quite a bit for work and stay in ALOT of hotels, this one had the absolute best breakfast bar and so we have experienced. Fresh and plenty of options. Parking was a breeze. The indoor pool was great. I would give our overall experience 10 stars. Great staff! Highly recommend. "

"I recently stayed at this older hotel, and unfortunately, the experience was not very comfortable. The property clearly shows its age, with outdated furniture and overall worn-down facilities. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning unit—it was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep or relax in the room. Additionally, the room lacked some basic amenities you would expect, such as a safe for storing valuables, which made me feel a bit uneasy during my stay. While the hotel may have been charming at one point, it now feels neglected and in need of significant updates."
