« First impression was to notch. Location was breathtaking. House was very clean (wife says it was one of the clematis houses we've stayed). Kitchen and the rooms were well- stocked with all necessities. The morning sunrise on the balcony was amazing. « We enjoyed our stay to the cabin. The location is beautiful and the drive in is quite scenic. The dock was nice. We brought our boat and the drive to the marina was about 10 minutes (there is a fee to use the lake). The house was comfortable but could use some love- it’s dated and could use a little maintenance. « We had a nice time up on the lake in between competing at VIR just a few minutes down the road. House was clean, large enough to fit our 8 team and crew, and provided us with some quiet time fishing off the dock. Host is very responsive to any issues/ requests. »

« Loved the privacy and location.Somethings need improvement.ex; Cleanliness- there was leftover groceries left in the refrigerator. Long black hairs on and dead bed bugs on master bedroom bed. A/c is old and struggled to keep house a comfortable temp. Had plumbing issues with guest bathroom. Couple beer cans in back yard beside fire pit. « Our family of 11, ages 13-80, gathered at the "Memory Maker" for a long weekend in June 2024. We found the house even more spacious than the photos depicted. And immaculate! The kitchen had everything needed for cooking big breakfasts every morning, and the separate coffee bar was a real hit! Plus Millie's Pizza was as good as ever! Everyone enjoyed the game room downstairs, and my grandsons patiently tried to teach their 80 yr. old grandmother to play pool.....I can still hear the laughter!!!...

« We loved this house. It was beautiful, and cozy. The lake was so refreshing and we enjoyed spending time out there. I especially love that there are whole walls of glass doors. The beds were comfortable, the couches as well. The linens were so enjoyable. The area was gorgeous, and the only issue we had was with the road - so not connected to the owner at all. It was a rough road leading to the house, so I recommend that you take it slow! »
