"Staff was friendly, one bedroom suite was spacious and clean. Our room was right infront of the elevator and thankfully we didnt hear anyone outside of our door. Minor issue is their toilet paper really sucks. The restaurant attached is nice and breakfast was good."

"The hotel was surprisingly very modern and updated. The staff were so friendly! The only thing I would change would be the air conditioner. It is very noisy when it turns on. Definitely needs to be looked at/replaced. But it does cool down the room significantly when it’s on. Over all I would come back when needing to stay the night in Sarnia. "

"The Golden Place was indeed… GOLDEN! The owners connected with us online and gave excellent instructions to arrive at the property. We were in town for an 80th birthday, and this condo allowed us to spread out and relax in between festivities. The whole place was beautiful, clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. There was an exquisite bathroom and two lovely bedrooms. The owners left a high chair and a crib for us. How thoughtful!! We made good use of the deck and even walked down to the water a few times to feed ducks with the children. I can’t say enough about this amazing property. We made some wonderful memories ant the Golden Place and invite other families to stay here and do the same!! "
