"High points would be the cleanliness and the effort made in upgrading the rooms. We've stayed here occasionally over the years and you can tell that the owner cares about the property. Newish windows, newly tiled bathrooms, updated fixtures, etc. It's no Hilton but not priced like one either. For an old motel in a small town it is as good as they come: comfortable, clean, and safe. Also, the owners are friendly and helpful--which goes a long way to making you feel welcome. "

"Very small but really well laid out cottage and beautifully kept up. Plenty of everything that some other places don't offer, like towels, shampoo, tea/coffee, etc. Fantastic location - 10 minute walk to the park. Only thing is the listing says sleeps 6 which is true, 6 people could sleep there, but it would be pretty crowded. I found it just the right size for 3 of us. Me and my family would definitely stay there again."
