In all honesty, the only things this hotel has going for it are its excellent location and the fantastic hot water with even better water pressure. Beyond that, we paid around $400 for a room with absolutely no view. The air conditioner was louder than the fire trucks that drove past every 20 minutes, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The elevators also deserve a special mention—and not in a good way. They feel like they haven't been updated since the building was first constructed (feel free to prove me wrong). There are only two elevators serving 15 floors, with roughly 12 rooms per floor. You do the math. Waiting for an elevator took forever; it was genuinely faster to take the stairs, and I think this may be the first hotel that's ever made me recommend doing that. Oh and the bed was amazing! Overall, the location is excellent, but for the price, the room and facilities simply don't justify the cost.

Staff were great but the room was much smaller than expected. There was a desk in room which was unnecessary and it took up so much of the walk that the bar fridge and microwave stacked on top of it stuck out past the wall and ended up being a tripping hazard.

Excellent location. Staff very nice. Room big and bed very comfortable. But noisy. As is all of Chicago. Trying to sell in room soap products for exorbitant prices tachy as hell. Rooftop lounge had sadly very short hours and limited open days. Seems a shame to waste such an opportunity.
