« The property was well-kept and had all that was needed for a wonderful stay. Private and quiet, a nature lover stay. We saw Bald Eagle daily, deer crossing the river, fawns, and diving ducks, and found possible bear trax. It was fantastic. The beds could be more comfortable and had to sleep on the sofa but the bedding was nice etc. We had a great time on the river as did the dogs. I got to meet the owner and she was very nice. I would recommend a stay here. It was a nice escape from the grind...

« Went to view totality of eclipse in Warren, PA. Awesome! Cabin great value and only had to drive an hour from there to eclipse target viewing spot. Host very helpful and worked with us on one problem to satisfaction. Very glad we went! »

« The bears den was a nice quiet getaway for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary. She chose this time of year because of the fall leaves and the Allegheny national Forest was full of awesome autumn sights. The property is a repurposed restaurant and each unit has a unique theme. We loved the decor and the privacy. The river is short walk from the front door. We would stay again for sure. »

« This house has some good features: large kitchen, numerous gathering areas, loads of sleeping space, comfortable beds, proximity to river. There are lovely needlepoint chair cushions in the dining room. However,, the house needs some care. The pictures are somewhat misleading;for instance, the house sits right on the road and the gradual slope to the river is on the other side of the road. »
