The little cabin was efficient and perfectly appointed. It felt secluded, but it was just a short drive to Seward, which is fun and vibrant. I almost cried when we left and I vow to return one day. It has lake view and it was gorgeous. Really enjoyed our stay here. There were so many creative, beautiful touches to the cabin and the whole campground. The cabin was well equipped for everything we needed (2 adults, 3 teens) with a gorgeous view. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake.
