Our daughter was married just 15 minutes from the property and it was wonderful to have family stay together during the weekend! Each room is eloquent and private enough for the opportunity to get away! The kitchen and dining room were perfect for meals together! My only recommendation is more comfortable furniture in the living room to be able to gather in a more comfortable space. The outdoor grounds are fabulous! Selfishly I wish the front porch had a swing as it is the perfect spot to just watch the world go by—oh and a few trains but they were never a bother but rather brought all the more charm! ##### Sonya F. There was an issue with the coffee pot, an important amenity, haha!! I messaged the host and it was remedied immediately, she was extremely responsive! My one issue with the property was with the other tenants onsite. The cottage is a private dwelling connected to a larger home, which I was aware of on the reservation. The tenants in the larger home allowed their dogs to run loose and that caused problems for me and my dogs. Also, the wall by the table is adjacent to one of their bedrooms is VERY thin!! We could hear their TV and snoring very loudly! They stayed up late at night and had a party, gratefully the bed in the cottage is offset so some of their noise was deflected. We LOVED the cottage and all it offered! If a large wedding or other gathering is happening at the same time, definitely expect it to have an impact on your privacy. ##### lisa p.
