Fantastic stay at this family run hotel. We were made to feel welcome straight away, parking was easy, rooms were spacious and clean and balcony offered amazing views. Would recommend to anyone visiting Santorini. Main town of Oia and the tourists attractions were only a short walk away and right next to a bus stop to explore the rest of the island.

Nice location, close to Oia but wont be too crowded. The price is acceptable, but the service is exceptionally good. We enjoyed the bathtub and the room a lot.

We loved our stay at Alyvia suites! The suite was spacious, very clean, great air conditioning, the owner was so helpful and friendly. Very convenient being placed in Finnikia for a short walk (5-10mins) into Oia - perfect location to stay away from the busy streets of Oia, and lovely and quiet at night. It was also situated really close to a small supermarket, a car and quad rental place, and plenty of restaurant options along the route into Oia. We loved coming back to the little pool on our balcony and watching the sunset with a drink. We were very sad for our holiday to end, and would highly recommend Alyvia Suites to anyone visiting beautiful Santorini.

Staff were lovely, breakfast was great, the view was amazing! In walkable distance to Oia, we enjoyed how it was just on the out skirts so it was not busy or loud. Stunning sunset view. Thank you to the staff who were lovely and very helpful!

Alyvia Suites was the perfect place to stay! Very welcoming and great location that’s just outside of Oia and walking distance to everything you need. The room was clean, comfortable, and the private jacuzzi was amazing! Breakfast was also a huge plus. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be back next time!

We wanted to stay back a bit from Oia, and this place was beautiful. I am not sure Santorini uses addresses everywhere, so it took a few mins to find at night. Just remember what the pictures look like. We wanted to rent a car while we were visiting, and there was parking at the front (on the property). I didn't look at the bus route or schedule to see how close it came to the property. The hot tubs were a very nice touch, and we used them in the evenings. It included breakfast, and the host came by with our breakfast order each morning. We selected from a list of things like yogurt, rolls, cheese/turkey, jam, granola bars, tea and coffee etc. It was close enough to walk to Oia - about 15 mins, where we could go shopping and do the "tourist things" there, and yet we could go back to our quiet place afterwards. We really enjoyed the host and the accomodation.

We didn't like

The accommodation was overpriced for what it offered. The photos gave the impression that the entire space was private, but it wasn’t — there’s a corridor where other guests can pass by. Cleanliness was very disappointing. When we arrived, all the furniture in the room was extremely dusty. Daily “cleaning” was limited to taking out the trash and a poorly made bed, done in a very unprofessional way. Another downside was the reception, which was often closed. Since it’s a family-run guesthouse and the owner lives upstairs, the reception only opened at specific times, basically just for check-in and check-out. 15/20 minutes walking to Oia

Our host was incredibly sweet and helpful. She arranged for our ATV rental, gave us guidance on a few things and made our experience a peasant one. The rooms themselves are very beautiful, the breakfast (European style so don’t expect North American style) was great, the private hot tubs were such an amazing touch and gave us a prime and personal spot to view the santorini sunsets. The location is perfect from my perspective as it’s right near the most beautiful part of the island, far enough to not have tourists and cars making noise, and far far away from the cruise ships and party of Fira.
