It’s filled with small bungalows and boutique hotels that are just steps from the beach, Stearns Wharf, State Street, and the Harbor. The Brewhouse Restaurant, Neighborhood Bar, and Amtrak station are all close by making the walkability that much better. The tri-level home embraces its Spanish architecture with modern comforts. The ground floor offers the first Primary Suite with a private enclosed patio and extremely large spa-inspired bathroom. We were able to walk to the beach and great restaurants. We did have some maintenance issues during our stay, but we followed the instructions in the book and they were taken care of quickly. Really cool architecture. Unfortunately, the beds and living room furniture were broken down and uncomfortable. Parking is terrible. Street parking was impossible and maintenance crews onsite everyday making access to driveway and garage challenging. The condos face each other and echo noises. Maintenance crews were onsite everyday and it felt like they were inside the units talking and they parked their truck 8' from front door entrance from 8a-5p.
