"Hotel and staff were wonderful. It’s in very good shape and the room service menu was great and reasonable price.
Only negatives: the bathroom door is all glass and on a track that makes quite a bit of noise and lets all the bathroom light into the bedroom. So if someone uses the bathroom at night - we woke each other up a bunch. Had an issue with a subpar meal from room service but the hotel manager graciously comped it and treated us to a breakfast. All class and deeply appreciated Would...
"I had purposefully chosen boutique 56, rather than boutique 53 as I wanted to be able to check in and take my room straight away in the same building. With boutique 53 you have to check in at 56 then walk back to 53 and then fight your way through the people that they have sat at tables outside the door of 53 to get into 53. I was therefore rather disappointed that after having booked boutique 56 that I was sent to a room in 53."
"Lovely hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Central location and good price value.
However, shower water wasn’t hot which can be uncomfortable in cold Hamburg.

"There was a bit of a hiccup with our checkin, since they had no record of us having already paid. It was eventually straightened out, then they realized that we had overpaid and refunded our credit card. All was well. The room was comfortable, clean and had ample space. There does seem to be noise that carries through the walls and halls, but since we travel with earplugs, it was no problem. Bonus was the bidet in the bathroom."
