Hotels in Sanchez Shepard, Edgewater

"This hotel is in need of some TLC. The hallways are dark and dingy. The ice makers dont work and the staff is not very friendly."

"Came during spring break week when it was supposed to be crowded. You would figure the hotel would be staffed properly and have all of the amenities open. Their rum room was closed down. The breakfast buffet they usually have in the mornings was not happening. Tried to call at 9:54pm to get room service and had to beg to get iut because they were closing at 10. Told we could only order from a partial menu and when we got it, it looked thrown together and definitely not appetising. That does not include the condition of the property... Couldnt open the window because flies would come in the room. Only one out of four elevators were working and one time the doors only opened partially and had to be pried open. Another time we went on the elevator, it dropped and bounced before going up and everyone jumped off of the elevator. Actually went to staff elevators to use them. Could not use the pool because trash was scattered everywhere. Tried to use the public bathrooms and most had their toilets filled with paper and overflowing. We actually left days early. Even had the person checking us in telling us how someone got shot outside of the hotel the night before and it happens every year. Would you use the beach after that? Usually love this hotel. Not sure we are coming back after this though. Hoping this was a fluke but it was a bad one. All my wife wanted to do for her birthday week was enjoy this hotel. We lost our vacation and our spring break. "

"Older building but I don't mind as it was clean. Pool was not cleaned the 6 days we were there. Hot tub was not working. It was to cool to get in anyway but the kids enjoyed it. Only real complaint is it is very very noisy in rooms!!! You can hear everything in rooms beside you, across from you, above you and below you. Screaming kids, banging and clanging, doors slamming, furniture scrapping, etc. I would stay again but only off season. "

"No clean towels, room smelled like weed and ballsack, dogs barking all night, pool sucked, breakfast wasn’t included and sucked. They offered late checkout for a fee, when we asked to pay for the late checkout they said it wasn’t an option"

"This hotel is nice. Clean lobby, extra clean rooms. Staff very welcoming! "

"No ice available on floor 3 and had a problem w/air in room but fixed promptly"

"First room not so great, front desk clerk was super sweet, switch my room but had to down grade room from suite to standard room due to not so clean conditions in first room/ no suite available with ocean view but second room cleanliness was much better. View was amazing of the ocean! "
