"Oceanfront Escape" on Balboa, is a spacious four-bedroom, three bath condo that has ocean views from almost every room, with beach access only steps away. It's the absolute perfect spot to sit out on the patio and whale, dolphin, otter - watch and sunset gaze while the ocean breeze lulls you into a whole new level of serenity. The entry level of the home has the Kitchen and Dining area, Living Room, guest bedroom with a Queen bed, and a guest bedroom with 2 twin size beds.The upper level of the property features the master suite with a King bed and sliders that lead out to a wrap-around deck, a guest bedroom with a Full size bed and a Trundle bed that has a single bed on top and full size bed that pulls out from underneath, so in all the property can comfortably accommodate 10 guests. There are two living room areas, both up and downstairs, each with gas fireplaces, flat-screen televisions, and private oceanfront balconies, providing an unequaled and spectacular view! You could hear and see the waves crashing on the beach which was just down the steps of the condo. A railing by the steps would have been nice. The condo was older. It had the old bldg. smell when you opened the front door. Furnishings were nice. Galley kitchen was small-good for one cook. Couldn't open the freezer door all the way. A couple of the drawers in fridge were somewhat broken. Appliances were adequate. Needed an exhaust fan over cooktop. The blower was not working. Liked the beachy-looking wood flooring. Beach towels were provided. TV was challenging unless you were familiar with streaming. TV location upstairs could be improved as well as seating arrangement. Only one person could see well unless you sat on the floor and the chair was uncomfortable because there was nothing to support your neck. Room layouts and size were great. Games, puzzles etc. had a good selection. Bathroom towels were quite old and needed replacing. Could have used more toilet paper. We had to go out and buy some more. Proximity to Cambria was nice. Weather was great if you like it cool and foggy. We did have two days of beautiful clear skies, sunshine and a little warmer temperatures. Words can’t describe our four nights in San Simeon. The accommodations are over the top incredible. The owner really has thought of everything. The seating is perfectly situated throughout the condo for exquisite views of the ocean. The steps to the beach make it easy to venture out. We shared several gourmet meals together in a warm and well appointed kitchen and dining room area. The bedrooms are large and roomy with comfortable beds. We will definitely be back. We were extremely pleased with this condo and its location. The only disappointment is that the grill listed as one of the amenities was old and rusted and did not work...a true disappointment.
