It is a very quiet, upper story, end unit located directly on the beach with some of the best views ever. Recently, it was completely gutted and rebuilt with loads of custom features that include granite counters, custom cabinetry, stainless appliances, a fully-equipped kitchen, fireplace, 2 large flat screen TVs, wifi, washer & dryer, and slate deck with outside electric grill. It is light and bright with large oceanfront windows and six skylights. One of the exciting features is a floor-to-ceiling picture window allowing one to enjoy waves breaking on the beach from the comfort of the upstairs bed in the master suite. Even more, the skylights above the bed open to allow enjoyment of the cool sea breeze and gentle sound of the waves. Truly, this this condo must be seen to fully appreciate! Private, on-site gated parking is included. After parking your car, you might never use it again until your stay has ended. Once you enter this condo and enjoy the deck and amenities, it is hard to leave the condo itself! However, you can easily walk to almost everything you might need or want. This Cayucos condo is located 1/4 mile from the pier, restaurants, and shops in the town named as the "Best Undiscovered Vacation Spot in the U.S." You will love this town that seems to have been forgotten by time. It is said to be one of the last authentic California seaside towns. It is filled with an ample assortment of unique restaurants that range from casual take out to high-end culinary delights. Indeed, one couple coming out of the famous Cass House restaurant told my wife and me that they rated this eatery, along with two others in Europe, as having the best food anywhere! Cayucos and its restaurants and shops have been written up in Sunset and Coast magazines and in various newspaper travel sections on quite a number of occasions. Without a doubt, there is something for every taste and every budget. Several upgrades have been made to this property: \*Brand new Sleep Number adjustable beds \*All new comforters, duvets, and bedding \*Bedside lamps with built-in charging connections for electronic devices \*A new refrigerator with automatic ice dispenser \*A new washer and drier \*New top-grade leather couch and loveseat/sleeper \*Refreshed decor In addition the exterior of the property has new deck railings, a new roof, a new landscaping plan, and more. Besides all of the beautiful natural scenery and great eateries, Cayucos offers much more. Stroll the aisles of several antique shops, enjoy three trendy surf shops (which also offer equipment rentals), and be sure to stop in at the gift and jewelry boutiques. If you're feeling more energetic, you might choose bike riding, surfing, tennis (the tennis courts are only two-three blocks away), swimming (there is a public pool next to the tennis courts and park), fishing, or kayaking. It is almost impossible to get bored in Cayucos! Step out the door of your condo and discover miles of beach. If you feel like an adventure, take the six-mile walk along the seashore to Morro Bay and have lunch in one of the many bayfront restaurants along the embarcadero. If you time it right, you can ride back and have the shuttle drop you right across the street from your vacation get-away. The minute we walked through the door our breath was taken away by how special this place was going to be for our eight night stay. The condo is beautifully decorated in a beach/nautical theme and has EVERYTHING you need for the PERFECT getaway to the charming "last beach town" of Cayucos. All we had to bring for our trip was food items because Randy has thought of everything you might need to make your stay comfortable, including beach chairs and boogie boards for a perfect day at the beach. We ate all of our meals on the comfortable balcony with stunning views of the Cayucos beach, pier, Morro Rock, and beyond. The condo is situated such that you feel one with nature and the beach....lulled to sleep every night to the sounds of crashing waves. We love the condo so much that we booked it for another nine days at Thanksgiving. Thank you Randy for creating a special place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Cayucos and its surrounding areas like the Estero Bluffs, Cambria, Fiscalini Ranch, San Simeon Beach, Elephant Seals. This condo is a genuine treasure and we were honored to stay in it. ##### Sharon D. All of the components in this unit are of high quality. I mean all. It's like living on the beach without getting sand between your toes. We enjoyed wine and cheese just about every evening on the deck. We even enjoyed watching the dogs frolic in the surf. The birds entertained us for hours. I remember the days when I was younger dragging chairs, coolers, and blankets, down to the beach. Why did I do that? Because I loved the sights and sounds of the ocean. In this condo you get all that the ocean has to offer by just going out on the deck. I could go on and on. The location is great ( i've stayed in Cayucos before). The complex is right on the beach area so easy to walk out to pier or to town. We had no issues with noise from neighboring units, but since it seemed half the place was empty. At low tide, you can walk south for miles just along the beach. ( If higher tide, then the water hits a rocky area preventing safe passage and you would need to go up to street and walk down a bit into residencial area and then go down one of the many stairs that provides beach access .)The little market in Cayocos is very small but has basics. MB has big supermarket. Fairly close.I did talk with Randy/owner on the Phone with some comments about the electric Grill. He is a very pleasant gentleman.The only negatives I had with this unit were:-- there were Plug In air fresheners in the bathrooms a down bedroom. Definitely don't like that. I am very sensitive to smells. We unplugged them and put in cabinets. Problem solved.-- The dining area was great with the big picture window, but difficult to navigate if you were the one who had to slide into the bench. Prolly OK for kids or just two ppl.-- I suggested to owner they provide either a stovetop tea kettle or an electric one for boiling water for coffee pourover or tea . He said he would for future.Would definitely return. ##### Christine T.
