"I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. "Solo female traveler here. Let me just start by saying if you want to do more fun hostel partying, stay near the little volcano. If you’re here to chill and take it easy. Stay around big volcano. Unless you have a moto or car. The area around has everything you need. Restaurants both touristy and local, groceries, cafes, tour guides, etc. I felt safe and entertained but most of the activities I had to use a moto (or find a guy who had a moto haha) The room itself was very nice. No bugs or dirt. A good AC (if you hear weird noises at night, it’s most likely AC or birds on top) nice shower. The staff was helpful, all of them were very nice. The tipico food was very good. Those ladies are wonderful cooks :) I’d stay here again if I wanted a relaxing island vibe. "
