great hotel and outdoor pool

I chose the hotel because of the location (in the hear of St Emillion) and would not need to drive anywhere. It is a Relais & Chateau designated hotel and Michelin star restaurant (which was closed when we visited) but I cannot imagine why you would choose anywhere BUT this really unbeatable location literally seconds and in the heart of the old town of UNESCO World Heritage town, provided you wanted to visit St. Emillion first and foremost. Stayed for 3 nights in the top floor room with the spiral staircase. You enter the room and there are 2 chairs to enjoy sitting with the balcony open. The spiral staircase is unique and we loved it, just take your time up and down, that’s all. Bedroom, and bathing area are beautifully decorated. Bed is very comfortable. A beautiful château on a Vineyard. Definitely an upscale venue. Staff are wonderful to deal with. You’re in the country surrounded by nature. It’s about 15 minutes or so to St. Emillion having a car is a good idea.

This hotel was perfect besides the WiFi that was far from what it should be. Hopefully that has been fixed. That was the only thing that was an issue for us.

Property was taken ideal for a 1 night stay Not the best neighborhood and no elevator if you’re on the 3rd floor but staff was great and carried our bags to the room and provided us with a map and suggestions on what to do and see

We had amazing time during our stay. Staff who were assisting us were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Bouchra and Natalia were great hosts. We would strongly recommend this place to travellers looking for a quiet chateau experience close to Bordeaux.

This a beautiful hotel (better than the photos) - it was recently renovated and feels very chic and new, from the lobby to the bar to the rooms. The staff also were excellent. It was my 40th birthday and they put balloons and a card in my room and a voucher for two free drinks, which I just thought was above and beyond. STAY HERE, you won't regret it.

We had only time to spend one night in Bordeaux. The Residhome was a great choice. Beside the tram and only a few stops from the city centre. Close to s number of interesting sites. Highly recommend this place to stay. Very nice helpful staff with excellent English.
