Many local festivals celebrating the arrival of spring also take place then.Early autumn offers a spectacular display of changing leaf colours across the vineyards and forests, with temperatures similar to late spring, usually between 12°C and 18°C. This is also harvest season, meaning many wine festivals are held throughout the region, offering a wonderful opportunity to sample local wines and cuisine.
