Has everything you need for a short or longer stay and is very private and exclusive. This is not a rustic bach in New Zealand - it is a sophisticated holiday home. The Wifi is good too. It is close to Russell as well as near the ferry over to Paihia and Waitangi. There are many things to do around here - boat trips, walks etc and also some very good restaurants nearby. Just sitting at the window seat and watching the endless awesome birds in the morning was such a treat and the cows next store. It's about a 3 min drive to town. A 1.2 mile walk which I don't suggest because it's along a highway uphill, unless you take the boardwalk through the mangroves and then straight up 1.7 miles into a forest for another 1.5 miles. There is one taxi into town if you'd like. Definitely recommend Sage restaurant and Urupukapuka Island for the most incredible (although a tough uphill) hike and views.
