Hougoumont Hotel is a little gem of an inn centrally located in Fremantle. I could easily walk wherever I needed to go within 15 minutes. My room was small but clean and modern looking. The staff were very friendly and replaced my lost access card in a snap. I highly recommend them!

Very nice and peaceful place.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location, easy walk to the train station and ferries, shops and restaurants everywhere. The apartment was comfortable and roomy. We had a small balcony which was nice to let light and air into the room. The A/C worked great and was very quiet. The building is old which fits in perfectly in Fremantle but was wonderfully renovated and modern. I would definitely recommend.

A unique location to stay with a significant history to Freo. Close to all the great restos, beach, train station, etc. We chose the private room option as older travellers which made for a comfortable stay. Lots of space in the room and on the site. Best part was the wonderful, super friendly and accommodating staff.

Hreat location and very clean.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottesloe Beach Hotel. The hotel is right on the beach, and offers many beach-view rooms with balconies. I definitely recommend the balcony - the view is amazing, and the balcony has a nice table to sit at and watch the sunset. We arrived on Christmas Day, and unfortunately the restaurants were closed; however, the bar fridge was stocked, and a couple of fish & chips and a pizza place were open nearby. Cottesloe Beach is less than 1 minute walk away, and offers...

A room facing the beach provides a fantastic view. Just about as good as it gets. Our room was very spacious and adequate in every way. Not the place to stay if one wants to be in Perth each day (although a short bus ride and an efficient and short train ride gets you into Perth very easily) but for the beach and the sea and nearby good dining this place is tops.
