The Space:
A relaxed, easygoing Kiwi bach at Gisborne Point on Lake Rotoiti - the kind of spot made for lazy summers on the water. There's a great deck and an enormous lawn with plenty of room for the boat and a game of backyard cricket, and it's just a short stroll through the front gate to the lake for a swim or to launch the boat. The main house has two bedrooms, and a separate sleep-out gives the group a bit of extra space and privacy. It's all about kicking back and enjoying lake life.

Guest Access:
You'll have the whole place to yourselves - the two bedrooms in the main house, the separate sleep-out, the full bathroom, the kitchen and the living areas - along with your own private entrance, free parking, a BBQ, and access to the garden and the lake. There's plenty of room to park the boat, and boat ramps at either end of Wharetoroa Drive.
The Neighborhood:
Rad Little Pad sits at Gisborne Point on Lake Rotoiti, in a relaxed neighbourhood of lake houses - some holiday homes, some permanent - popular with anyone who loves getting out on the water. There are boat ramps at either end of Wharetoroa Drive, and Emery's Store is just 3 minutes up the road for supplies, snacks and the essentials. It's a peaceful, rural lakeside spot, with central Rotorua and its restaurants and attractions about a 30-minute drive away.
Getting Around:
A car is essential out here, and there's free parking on the property with room for the boat. Emery's Store is about 3 minutes away for supplies, and Rotorua Airport is around 17 minutes. Central Rotorua and the big attractions - the city, the Redwoods, Te Puia and the geothermal spas - are all roughly a 29 to 33 minute drive.
Other Things to Note:
The bach has direct access to Lake Rotoiti - a short stroll through the front gate - with boat ramps at either end of Wharetoroa Drive, so it's a great base for boaties and anglers. There's a separate sleep-out accessed from outside, a BBQ and a big lawn, and a cot is available for a baby. Emery's Store is just up the road for supplies.
